Saturday, January 15, will mark the 15th anniversary of the storming of Stasi headquarters in Berlin by citizens in 1990, when the communist East German regime fell. The Stasi kept detailed records on millions of East Germans in a staggering volume of documents, most of which survive in today's archive. Over 90,000 people still apply evey year to see the files the Stasi kept on them.
