MARCH 2006 -- Chief Executive Officer, Hreidar Mar Sigurdsson, born in 1970, Sigurdsson graduated in business administration from the University of Iceland in 1994 and joined the Asset Management Division of Kaupthing later that year. He was appointed Deputy CEO of Kaupthing in 1998 and served as Managing Director of Kaupthing New York since its foundation in March 2000 until late into 2001.
