FRANCE / SANGATTE 16, MARCH 2001--The French Red Cross refurgee centre close to Calais, for refugees trying to cross the channel to Great Britain. HEREDIN from Kosovo is one of the 350-400 refugees staying in the former Channel Tunel construction warehouse. -- The growing amount of refugees in the central park of Calais led to the founding of the refugee centre in Septembre 1999.
