FRANCE / SANGATTE 16, MARCH 2001--The French Red Cross refurgee centre close to Calais, for refugees trying to cross the channel to Great Britain. During the day the refugees eat, sleep and plan for the next attempt to cross the chanel during the night. -- The growing amount of refugees in the central park of Calais led to the founding of the refugee centre in Septembre 1999.
